Although still relatively young, David Nylander has been around the sport of speedway a long time: his family history one that can not be denied. Starting in a Junior Sedan, David then moved into Late Models twenty one seasons ago where he won the rookie of the year award, and now in season 2024/25 is back for another crack.

Showing plenty of speed in recent seasons, David will be hoping to convert that into results as he contests as many shows as he can.

“The team have been flat out throughout the off season completely stripping the #54 machine" says David. “We typically pull the car right down and perform a heap of preventative maintenance as well as replace a lot of components. We've completely rebooted the car and have been fortunate enough to maintain pretty much all of our sponsors from last season, as well as welcome some new additions to the family."

“At this point the plan is to run ten to twelve quality shows, with the intention to run more if we can. We will be focussing our efforts on running the month of madness at the Motorplex in March, as well as a number of other key meetings in the lead up. At this stage we are intending on supporting the Bunbury and Albany Pro-Dirt rounds as well."
