UPPING THE ANTE
This season will be Chris Barrow’s third in Late Models, and being his second full season with the Pro Dirt season he has upped the ante in the off season in his search for more consistency!
The team has purchased the ex Kye Blight XR1 Rocket from Paul Stubber, and with the car already a proven winner, Chris is keen to test it out.
Added to this, Chris is also stepping up the motor program, moving from the trusty crate to an open motor. With a heap of help from AJ Nylander, who is lending Chris a motor whilst his new motor is under construction and due by the end of the year, Chris will be ready for the season opener.
“I’ve got my big boy pants on this season and it’s now time to step up towards the front of the pack” says Chris. “I want to try to finish in the top eight each week and even jagging a podium would be amazing!”
Chris is planning on contesting the full season and after coming home seventh overall last year, a top five overall is certainly not out of the question.
“I am excited” says Chris. “We are all set and ready for a big season in my big yellow taxi!”
