Albany Underway Tonight!
The annual Easter extravaganza for Late Models at Albany Speedway Club gets underway tonight!
It will mark the fifth time the event is held, with fifteen cars nominated including defending champion Joe Chalmers, former champion Kye Blight, and last year’s night one victor Abbey Pickering.
Also in the field are names like David Nylander, fresh off a podium finish in the final Pro Dirt Series round, regular Pro Dirt drivers like Peter Walker and Damian Hudson, a host of Esperance and Kalgoorlie travellers like Mat Robbins and Shaun Cubbage as well as some Albany locals like Wayne Coleman and Glynn McBeath.
Drivers will contest two separate nights of action, with hot laps and time trials prior to heat races, dashes and the feature races each night.
