RAY TULK TO LAUNCH NEW SEASON!

The 2025/26 Pro Dirt Series launches into life this Saturday at the Ellenbrook Speedway and with twenty-three nominations received for the showdown, it is sure to be an epic way to kick off.

The Ray Tulk Memorial, a race that has been running since 2006 to honour the efforts of a man who put in so much work behind the scenes, has only ever had six different winners and in the last five years just two drivers have claimed the victory.

Warren Oldfield (Oldfield Racing) won in 2020, 2022 and 2024 (on top of his four other wins in the race) while Brad Blake filled the winners spot in 2021 and 2023 (as well as his 2009 and 2017 victories), and with both in the field, they will be hoping to continue their impressive records and kick the season off in the best possible way.

There are only two other former winners in the field: Jamie Oldfield (Oldfield Racing) who claimed the 2011, 2012 and 2018 wins, while Brent Vosbergen (Team Vosbergen Racing - TVR) claimed his solitary win in 2019 and both would love to get on top of the podium come the end of Saturday night’s feature race.

‘The Big Unit’ Kenny Macpherson (KMM - Ken Macpherson Motorsport) returns to action after some time out of the seat this weekend and he is one that has an interesting record. So far in his career he has five Pro Dirt Series podium finishes and four of those have come in the Ray Tulk Memorial race at Ellenbrook: can he add to that this weekend?

Others to have finished on the podium in this race include Jason Oldfield (Oldfield Racing) (2024, 2022), Jay Cardy (Cardy Racing Components) (2023 and 2011) and Michael Holmes (Michael Holmes Racing) (2012), so they will be keen to improve and get the elusive win, while other big hopes include former Australian Champion Joe Chalmers (Team BCM Motorsport:), former Nationals winner Rod Musarra (Team Rocket), Veronica McCann (Veronica McCann - Red Hot Racing) and Luke Halliday (Halliday Racing).

Add in a whole host of other contenders and it is sure to be a hotly contested opening round thanks to CTM Recruitment Pty Ltd and Scardfield Smash Repairs.

The show is so big this weekend that it begins from 2pm Saturday afternoon, so make sure you get there early!
